August has been a busy month so far with our Secondary School Teams competition and heading towards the end of the month we are focused on preparations for National Secondary School Champs.

Commonwealth Veteran Fencing Championships 17th - 20th November

For all Kiwi fencers there is an EARLY BIRD DEAL that is running out on 31 August!
Pay on or before 31 Aug and your FIE licence (usually $70) is included in the entry fee; as of 1 Sept it goes on top!
Go to http://www.cvfc2016.co.nz/ and enter!

So far there has been heaps of international interest and we are expecting a lot of competition, especially from the Aussies. We're really excited that this event is in New Zealand and the team in Christchurch are doing a great job getting ready for it. To be eligible to compete you need to be 40+ or turning 40 before the end of the year (ie - 11:59pm on 31st December 2016!). Find out more on the tournament website: http://www.cvfc2016.co.nz/
